Senator Orrin Hatch, the Senior Republican Senator from Utah, always takes great care to protect his hands. If you watch him when he is on tv, he either puts his hands behind his back or, more commonly, wears gloves. The reason behind this quirk is that Senator Hatch has six fingers on his right hand.
